In this case, the inappropriate relationship between the size of the teeth and the size of the jaws resulted in the presence of unaesthetic spacing between the teeth.

To begin, we did an experimental mockup of the desired shape, using white filling material, to see if a desirable proportion between length and width of the teeth could be achieved with veneers without resorting to orthodontics. For the purpose of the shape mockup a colour not matching the teeth was used so we could be sure that all the experimental material was completely removed afterwards.

The final result of the treatment (Porcelain Laminate Veneers bonded to the front of the teeth) can be seen here with a full facial smile (with the patient's gracious permission) and a closeup of just the mouth.
