In this case, both lateral incisors were congenitally missing (left photograph). The canine teeth, with their typical pointed appearance, were present in the location of the missing teeth. In addition, there was spacing due to the fact that teeth were missing.
The treatment was performed in one sitting by bonding white filling material to the teeth in a manner which both reduced the apparent spacing and also modified the appearance of the pointed canines to give them the appearance of lateral incisors.
